Purpose
When the project started in 2012, swim watches for consumers were scarce. Neptune was designed for swim lovers — tracking distance, pace, stroke count, and more so people could record skills and improvement.

Challenges
Wi‑Fi cannot connect underwater, so data cannot sync instantly. Features that needed cloud support (e.g. notifications) had to be restricted.
Result
The app reached beta, but due to marketing conditions the company decided not to launch.
