Purpose

IR Blaster connects with the SOMFY gateway over Zigbee. Users can download an infrared remote-control code library covering 2,000+ brands worldwide, then use a mobile app to send IR commands to related electronics.

Integrating hardware and software for IoT was interesting and challenging.

Challenges

App features and UX flow were restricted by lack of cloud support.

Result

Despite those restrictions, I modified the app flow to enable certain features.
