Hero Stroke ("the app", "we") is a children's Chinese-learning app published by BoBo Design. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app. We do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
When you sign in, we collect a small amount of account information so your learning progress and subscription can be tied to your account:
You can also use the app as a guest, without an account.
To help your child practise reading characters aloud, the app uses the device microphone and Apple's speech recognition to check pronunciation in real time. We do not record, store, or send audio to our servers. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings › Hero Stroke.
These providers process the data above only to deliver their part of the app. Learning progress and settings are otherwise stored on your device.
Hero Stroke is designed for children. Because we show no ads, do no tracking, and collect only the minimal account data above, there is no profile of a child built for advertising or shared with data brokers.
Account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.
